Gianni Berengo Gardin *

Gianni Berengo Gardin is among the most important and best-known Italian photographers. Born in Santa Margherita Ligure, he has been active as a photographer since 1954. Since 1965 he has been working for Il Mondo. Over the years he has worked for the most important Italian and international publications (Domus, Epoca, L'Espresso, Time, Stern, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Du, and Le Figaro). Berengo Gardin has exhibited in hundreds of exhibitions celebrating his work and creativity. He has published over 200 books of photographs.
